The form of MALAITA’s last run couldn’t be working out much better. The front 4 pulled clear that day and two of them have won since. The winner Holly Hartingo was awarded a mark of 120 earlier this week and as lenient as that looks it is still 10 pound more than the selection has been rated. There wasn’t a huge amount between them at Ludlow the last day so I won’t be the only one thinking she looks well handicapped today.
A well related type, she should improve for the step up in trip and I’d expect her to be in the shake up in what looks a competitive mares event.
