OPINION
The racing Press often concentrates on characters, perhaps an argument can be made that we also attempt to invent them. Occasionally little effort is required though equine characters can be fleeting, especially those of which participate on the Flat, careers that often last a mere three or four seasons.
Cliches by definition become overused, imagine receiving a pound for every ‘would run through a brick wall’ or ’hard as nails’ description you heard. Such sayin...
