Good start but it went downhill

Ben Morgan gave back his early winnings but it’s onwards and upwards in 2023

The state of the ground has been a major talking point through the first third of the jumps season and it’s slowly grinding down my enjoyment of National Hunt racing. That and the lack of competitive action anyway has slowed down my punting escapes in recent weeks and I am finding myself year on year, looking at my records, staking less money around this time of the season.
